This turtle is also known as a scaly turtle. It has a hard carapace and looks like overlapping scales. The body color is brown, medium in size and can grow up to 70 - 90 cm with a weight between 35 - 75 kg. The beak shape of his mouth resembling an eagle beak. Its main food is sponges and soft essays found in coral reef areas. This species of turtle is mostly found in coral reef areas. The laying season is March - June with an average laying of up to 130 eggs. These turtles are found in the states of Terengganu, Pahang, Melaka, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak. The eggs are white with a soft skin and a diameter of about 5.0 cm.
